Character
Name: Hyarg Smith
Age: 19
Gender: Male
King/Queendom: Alavia
Appearances
Hyarg has a dark, ash-coloured hair, and a small frame. Quite skinny, this is due to malnutrition. His skin is a light, pale colour. He can usually be found wearing tattered clothing, practically rags, but it's the best he can do. He has limited access to hygiene, so he often looks -- and smells -- quite... Unclean.
Basic Personality
Hyarg was born with little to his name, but his parents were sure to instil some sense of morals in him. He is a very kind man, seeking to go on adventures and discover new things. He is a lover, and is not naturally very violent. He is also quite naive and does not seek dependence on others, but shoulders his life with his own two hands.
Likes:
Firstly, he has a fine appreciation for making new friends, and in general, just being around people. He is gifted with some sense of insight into other people, a general understanding, and he likes watching people experience life. Secondly, he appreciates exploration. Due to his background as a poor commoner, he has experience moving and exploring, having lived much of his life on the streets. Lastly, he likes nature -- he has a fascination with beaches, even though he's never been to one himself. He hopes to someday get to walk across one's sandy shores.
Dislikes:
Violence, selfish nobles/royalty, and seeing those he loves in pain.
Stats:
Strength: 10
Agility: 13
Constitution: 10
Stamina: 12
Intelligence: 12
Charisma: 13

Hyarg was so accustomed to just running. It seemed like he was always running. He had to be on his toes, from one day to another, to avoid the troubles that his life sometimes brought him. He had this unbelievable ability to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So, he was always running.
For once, he wanted to just stop. He wanted to walk. He wanted to see the world, to see what there was to offer beyond the capital walls. He looked at the rich with disgust. Not because they were more fortunate than him, no. It was because they flaunted their wealth, they bragged about it, caught up in their own little worlds, unconcerned. They all felt perfectly content in the castle walls, unwilling to branch out, to move, to explore, to live.
That wasn't the life Hyarg wanted. That wasn't what he wanted to experience, what he wanted to know, what he wanted to see, taste, feel, hear, smell. He wanted to live. He wanted to truly live. He didn't just want to be alive. He wanted to live. However; here he was, still. He knew he wouldn't last a day out there. And that was what terrified him the most.
Stopping to catch his breath, he ran his hand across the ally's wall. Bent over, he was breathing oh too deeply, and the cold, winter air entered his lungs. He saw, out of the corner of his eye, the guards chasing him run by -- they hadn't seen him. Good. He was safe. At least for now. With a sigh of relief, he dropped to the ground, back against the wall, feeling the pain of a cramp in his side from all the running. He could smell a foul stench, no doubt the garbage from the dining establishment inside the building who's wall he now rested against.
"Are you... okay?"
He was frightened to hear a female voice somewhere in the dark nearby. He turned, slowly, ready to bolt at any moment if need be. There was a sweet face staring back at him. A girl, sitting there, probably no older than he was. She joined him, sitting on the dirty ground, staring at him, looking into his eyes, curious.
"I... I suppose so."
She wasn't like him at all, though. Hyarg could tell just by looking at her clothes. She was one of those people. The Millennium. She was way too rich and powerful to care about a commoner like him. He was kind of surprised that she was even speaking to him. His eyes twinkled, though, seeking to engage in conversation, even if it was short-lived, which he figured it most likely would be.
"I'm... I'm fine," he replied.
"My name's Sasha. What's yours?"
"Hyarg."
"That's an interesting name," she replied, standing up.
Sasha walked away, and Hyarg looked down. She was leaving already. However; he noticed that she didn't exactly leave. She went towards the street, at the front of the ally, peering around the corner. She glanced out, down the side walk, for a good few minutes before turning back to Hyarg. Then, she smiled at him -- not just a small grin, but a big smile, and Hyarg didn't know what to think. She was beautiful.
"They're gone now," Sasha informed Hyarg. "Why don't you come home with me for a bit, just to make sure you're safe?"
Hyarg didn't know what to think, but at that moment, he knew. His life had just been changed. How, he didn't know. Why, he had not the slightest clue. However; it was true, for sure. Everything was going to be different now. He was about to begin a journey, a new chapter of his life, and finally, it seemed, he would get the opportunity to walk...
