We have been upgraded!
The layout is new to me,
so bear with me as I explore.
In the meantime ...
We have a shout box!
Since we haven't gotten very far,
we're still limited to non-magical humans only.
The spot where their magic is hidden hasn't been found yet,
but a new race HAS been spotted in the forest!
A town has been flooded with large/giant spiders
And a chest has appeared at the bottom of the Forbidden Cavern
Hyarg entered the bar, a bit dazed and confused about the events that had just occurred. He was running right now, being chased by some guards. He'd approached her madam, Duchess Mya're, and that'd been the last of it. He'd been trying to give her two solid coins she'd dropped, but the guards saw him with the coins, and thought he had robbed her. Of course, he hadn't, but try explaining that to the angry guards chasing you.
"E-Excuse me, sir," he called out, breathing heavily as he approached the bar. "M-might I ask you for a glass of water? Please sir, I'm parched."

(It'd be much prefered if you avoided specific names in these kind of situations)
The man looked the guy up and down as her entered his establishment. At first he, and the rest of the room, was on edge with such a man coming in, but he relaxed as soon as it was apparent that he meant no harm.
At the request, he stopped wiping the glass and went to fill it with water. Quietly, he set it infront of the breathless young man.
"Oh, thank you kindly, sir," he replied, taking a seat, "You're too kind."
His hands wrapped around the glass, assured by the security of something to drink at last. Bringing the glass to his lips, he licked them slightly before bringing it back, gulping the glass down in one gulp. Relief. And then, a fear set in -- would he charge Hyarg for the glass of water?
"I... I have only these coins," he replied, putting the two gold coins on the counter, "I know not of their worth... But... They are not mine, sir, and I would like, if possible, to return them to their rightful owner."
"A duchess," he replied, "She dropped them while she was walking towards her carriage. I picked up her coins and tried to return them to her, but I was accused of thievery."
He gave the other bar patrons a good look over. He could feel their stares upon him briefly, but was accustomed to it. He was not well dressed to be in this establishment, and a part of him was somewhat ashamed. Fortunately, the bar manager seemed quite nice, and he knew that he would not be kicked out of the establishment.

The owner meerly nodded."It would be the usual responce."
He looked around the room for a moment before returning his attentions to Hyarg. He appeared to be in thought. Then he smiled.
"Excuse me for a moment."
He walks into a room in the back, and comes back shortly with a bowl of steaming hot carrots in stew broth.
He then took the two coins and replaced them with another set of the same worth. "Unfortunately you won't be able to return these coins, they'd never give you the chance. I'll hold onto them in case I hear she's looking for them. Meanwhile these ones will be yours to keep, along with the carrots."
"I... I see," Hyarg replied, unsure rather the coins were worth more or less. It wasn't that he cared, because the coins were not his to begin with. He was simply grateful that he'd found someone so kind as to give him real broth, a nice carrot stew, and hot too. Hyarg hadn't had something so nice for quite some time.
"Thank you very much," he replied, bowing his head slightly before digging in.

While the man ate, the owner smiled and returned to his business. No sooner had he put down the last clean glass before a young woman in a cape burst into the building. "Guys! It happened again! A dream!"
The owner turned towards her direction, with a bit of a frown on. He was obviously displeased by the loud outburst. "Calm down Geralda!"
She turned to look at him, and for a moment looked like she was going to yell back at him,but she didn't. Instead she apologized quietly.
" Now sit down."
Shyly, she nodded and made her way overto the bar. She plopped down on a stool a couple seats away from Hyarg.
'But, I had another-"
"I know...I heard you well enough. But from what I've been hearing, everyone else has too."
She glanced around the room. Some people who werestill staring at her went back to minding their own business.
