We have been upgraded!
The layout is new to me,
so bear with me as I explore.
In the meantime ...
We have a shout box!
Since we haven't gotten very far,
we're still limited to non-magical humans only.
The spot where their magic is hidden hasn't been found yet,
but a new race HAS been spotted in the forest!
A town has been flooded with large/giant spiders
And a chest has appeared at the bottom of the Forbidden Cavern
It was noon in the town of FogHill, and so it was very busy.
Traveling merchants who had stayed the night packed up to leave for the next town. Working men were taking break to get something to eat. Children were out in the streets playing. Mothers were chattering among themselves.
And in all this mess, the hooded woman was nothing out of the ordinary.
Stopping just in time to not get run over by a stream of laughing children, she regrouped herself and made her way over to a small, run downshop whose only door was in a dirtpath allyway.
The young woman lowered her hood, since she was in the company of a good friend.
"I hear things Tobiah. More and more people seem to be having strange dreams. It's gotten so common now that even children speak of it as an everyday occurance."
She had heard it even of the way there from a concerned mother who was speaking with her friends on the matter. It had sounded very dark, much like ones she had heard before. That is what troubled her the most too- how dark the dreams were.
Quietly, she sat dow. She listened intently as her friend began to speak. Silently she wonderedbto herself, what these kind of dreams meant. If it was a coincidence, or if something truely wierd was happening. Maybe it was magic. Could magic be real?
No. Because if magic was real, they'd see people using it.
She was brought out of her thoughts when tobias asked her if she had experienced any dreams. "No..my nights have been dreamless. It appears I am fortunate in that respect."

The man was silent a moment, in thought perhaps..before heshrugged. "No one knows. No one knows what these dreams mean, or if anything is meant by them. And if someone does know...well, he isn't talking."
There was more silence. He glanced at a nearby semi-full decanter andthen over at the footwear he was working on.
"Could I interest you in a drink while you're here?"
She smiled slightly at his off. "No,thanks. I have a few other places to hit for information before my day is through."
she watched him, watched his every moves...every glance about the room.
The young woman prided herself in being able to read others. It had gotten her far in her role.
"I think something is meant by it." she said, speaking up once more. "It's never happened before. in the few written texts I have found, nowhere is it mentioned that everybody in all of the kingdoms share an experience like this. War, yes. Dreams, no."

He poured himself a small drink and sat down next to his current work. "Then perhaps you're right."
He nodded, almost as if agreeing with himself. "It certainly does seem odd." he paused for another sip. "go. Go forth and find the information you need like you're so good at. I'd like the know the meaning of giant lizards, strange hairy beasts and people with pointed ears." He nodded again and looked over at the boot he was working on.
"Maybe I could make you a new pair of trekking shoes...or riding boots?"
She smiled somewhat-warmly at her old friend, "Thank you, a pair of trekking boots would be appreciated. I may have to go where the dreamers are drawn...in order to get my information." she paused and then added in amusement, "I'll keep your request in mind, giant lizards and and people with pointed ears"
